It is with great and overwhelming sadness I must tell you that Bruce passed away with his family surrounding him, on 3 November 2010. Brucey, we loved you big fella. You loved your family and we loved you right back. Sleep peacefully. Always in my heart. No worries now Brucey. Mum loves you little man. xx xx xx

I can't imagine how hard it is to lose such a handsome guy as he was so young. Look at that face in the header picture! I just heard from Mango and this is my first visit but I am so sorry to see such a big wonderful boy taken so young. He reminds me a bit of my Moose who is a lab but a very dane-ish looking black lab and to see Bruce's sweet face makes me think of Moose. I am so sorry we did not meet before this and so sorry Bruce did not stay with you long. Big hugs!

We are devestated! In mama's quest to find every Dane blog available, we had just found Bruce's a few weeks ago and were so enjoying him and his adventures. He was just helping his mom cook, and now he's gone. Mama has lost more Danes than she cares to count over the decades, and every loss is like another piece of shrapnel in the heart. We mourn with you. We're glad that the life Bruce did have was filled with such love and good care. Tyler is also going to mourn his loss for weeks, and Kara may even surprize you. Our deepest condolences.

ReplyDeleteI am visiting from Honey the Great Dane's blog and am blinking back tears of sadness for such a sweet and young soul. I cannot imagine how hard this must be for all of you. My heart goes out to all of you during this hard time. I live in the USA and have a sweet chocolate lab that is almost 2 years old. RIP sweet puppy Bruce - I hope you are running free and playing with all the pups in heaven :(:(:(
